Toast Head Wines

Named for the traditional practice of toasting barrel heads and staves to impart a mellow, toasted flavor to barrel-aged wines, Toasted Head began making hand-crafted wines at our vineyards in the Dunnigan Hills of Yolo County, California in 1995. Toast Head is widely distributed in grocery, BevMo etc.

A hobby gone wild! That is how Idle Hour Winery, formerly Panoche Valley Vineyards, got its start. Winemaker Anna Marie dos Remedios began making wine as a hobby to relieve the stress of her day job as a newspaper journalist/business owner.  Anna Marie is focused on small lot, single-vineyard designated wines from some of California's best wine-growing regions. Anna Marie learned traditional winemaking methods from mentor and renowned Pinot Noir producer Josh Jensen at Calera Wine Company. At Idle Hour Winery the focus is on these traditional methods: native yeast fermentation, gravity flow racking and the use of neutral French Oak; all very gentle in nature, applying these to all the varieties Anna Marie ferments. While you will find all of the wines at Idle Hour Winery delightful, be sure to try the Reserve Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc and the Tannat Idle Hour Winery is located in Oakhurst, CA the gateway to Yosemite Park. Toca Medera Winery

Walt Whelan and his son, Brian Whelan started making wine in their garage with long-time friends Justin Gennock and Tony Storelli. After earning several best of shows in the Fresno Fair, the team entered larger competitions and won State-wide Gold and Silver awards for winemaking. So begins Toca Madera Winery in Madera, CA with the goal to share their love of winemaking and fine wine with everyone. The Toca Madera Winery is located in Madera, California on Avenue 9 just a short drive east of Highway 99 where you will find beautiful undulating hills covered with majestic vines. Toca Madera Winery frequently has local musicians entertaining guest as they enjoy the wines of Shayne Vetter, Winemaker at Toca Madera.~

Mettler Family Vineyards

For over five generations, our family has been growing premium wine grapes in California’s famous Lodi appellation. We are stewards of the land with our organically farmed winegrowing estate and our ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel and Petite Sirah which are the signatures of family pride and over 100 years of grape growing excellence.

Benson Ferry Vineyards

Bill Stokes, Sr. planted his first 45 acres of Zinfandel near Lodi in 1954, and established additional vineyards during the next decade. His son Tom increased the family acreage in vines from the 1960's to the 1980's, both by purchasing vineyard properties and developing new vineyards. Tom's two sons, Bill and Mike, took over active management of the family business in 1985. Under their supervision, Stokes Family Vineyard continues to grow, and now encompasses more than 2,000 acres.

Cardella Winery

The vineyards at Cardella Ranch were first panted in the 1970's and have been sold to premier California wineries ever since. Nathan Cardella, 4th generation, after graduating from the Enology and viticulture program at Fresno State in 204, founded Cardella Winery with his father Rod. Nathan and Rod believed premium artisan wines were lacking n the San Joaquin Valley and felt that the Cardella family could help fill this niche. Today the winery producs numerous award-winning varieties and has earned a reputation for being a cut above.

ASV Wines

SV Wines is able to offer a wide-ranging menu of wines to our customers. In addition, ASV Wines has the flexibility to contract with other wine grape growers to meet any unique customer needs.

Los Californios Winery

Our Meads and Specialty Wines under our Los Californios Winery Label. We produce three different meads all at 12.5% ABV and an Agave Wine at 8% ABV. Both of these wine types are unique and are among the oldest alcoholic beverages consumed by humans. All our wines are made from fresh all natural wholesome ingredients containing no sulfites or preservatives.

Gnarly Head Cellars

At Gnarly Head it all starts in the vineyard. Our quest for outstanding Zinfandel led us down a country road into the heart of Lodi, California revealing a sea of gnarled, 35-80 year-old vines pruned in a special, mop-topped way called “head trained.” True gnarly heads, these old vines yield fewer grape clusters with smaller berries than trellised vines. These mighty little berries produce intense, bold wines that are deep in color with concentrated dark fruit flavors.
