Fifty Barrels

Fifty Barrels is a grassroots, urban winery featuring handmade, artisan wines from California's finest grapes.
The palate-pleasing wines are made through the collaborative efforts of a few fraternity brothers who met in college and a couple of great guys (and gals!) they picked up along the way. Fifty Barrels is a fully functioning production facility, handling everything on site from the time the grapes leave the vine till the juice hits your glass.

Hewitt Vineyard

Hewitt Vineyard does not have its own tasting room, however our wines are available for tasting by appointment at Provenance Vineyards in Rutherford, California.

The Hewitt tasting is a vertical of three vintages for $30.00; complimentary for our wine club members. In addition, club members receive discounts on purchases, exclusive sales, access to older vintages and complimentary admission to all Hewitt Vineyard Wine Club events.

John Anthony Vineyards

Quiet, nice little place by our hotel (Andaz Napa). Good place to go for a quick bite and maybe a little wine, nice since it's open late and convenient. Nice ambiance. Wine is spectacular. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Definitely check this place out if you are wondering around downtown Napa.

Keyways Vineyard & Winery

First stop on our wine tasting fun! Beautiful winery as soon as you pull up onto the gravel parking lot.... So many trees, flower bushes, and on the walkway, vintage wine making machines, so cool! We walked right up to the counter, tasting for two! $15 each and you get to keep the glass! The staff was really sweet, enjoyed a good conversation, and she gave us a 2 for 1 card for the next winery on our list!

Dead Man's Wines

Here is a wine that is not only a California original but great for a wine romantic at the same time. Yes, I know. I am one of those “wine romantic”. Here is another California wine to put on your list.
You see Dead Man’s Hand is a California Zinfandel and plays on a very interesting theme.Brian Runkle the proprietor of Dead Man’s Wine promises that their wines are dedicated to producing superior hand-crafted wines from Napa Valley. This wine was inspired by the robust life style of the Wild West. In particular a name well know Wild, Wild West icon, Wild Bill Hickok. This wine was named after a hand drawn by Bill Hickok during a poker game. The hand was a two-pair hand, aces and eights of a black suits and was the hand Hickok was holding when he was murdered in Deadwood, South Dakota, hence the name, “Dead Man’s Hand”.

Alex's Red Barn Winery

Wine tasting in Temecula is quaint and charming. Drive a little more than an hour up north from San Diego, and you're there. Alex and his wife both run the place and they are the sweetest, cutest old German couple. Alex's wife introduced all the wine with tender graciousness that gave this small mom-and-pop winery a real sense of splendor.

Narrow Gate Vineyards

This winery is a must see/taste. The winemaker/winegrowers - Frank and Teena are truly special. Their passion translates into every bottle of wine. They have a very nice selection of both white and red wines that will appeal to just about every taste.Take a beautiful drive up to Narrow Gate and check them out!

Avensole Vineyard & Winery

Avensole Winery is especially rich in the history of Southern California wine making. The property was first planted with wine grapes in 1969 by wine making pioneer Vince Cilurzo, who introduced Petite Syrah and Chenin Blanc. Development of the Avensole vineyard was completed in 1986 by Bud Van Roekel, who planted Muscat Canelli, Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel. It was Bud’s goal to spare no expense to produce the finest grapes in California. We think he succeeded, and that the grapes produced by our vineyard are the finest in Temecula, and some of the very best in all of California. Great fruit – as grapes are called in the wine industry – is what allows Avensole Vineyard & Winery to produce great wines. Enjoy their wines your next visit to Temecula Wine Country.
